What do you like about your career or area of focus?

The freedom provides me (as an ex-teacher) and the women I get to work with daily. It honestly feeds my soul"! Seeing so many women reach new heights, achieve amazing things and just realise what they are capable of. I focus predominantly on; strategy, planning, creating solid intentions and purpose for their work and seeing the bigger picture in their business.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Start where you are, with what you have and what you know - then let the rest unfold!

What inspires you, motivates you, or helps you to move forward?

I am very self-driven, but what inspires me most is knowing what else is possible for me. That there are no limits, apart from the ones, we put on ourselves, inspire me the most. To always keeping moving forward and making progress. For my future self!

What are you proud of in your life so far?

Not letting my story dictate what I could or couldn't do and not being a victim of circumstance that’s my greatest achievement.

What is your preferred way to meet new people/network?

Any! I love meeting new people.

What skills or qualities do you feel have helped you?

I am a strong communicator, public speaker and great reader of energy and people. I am self-driven and very resilient. I am hardworking and always full of energy.

What do you wish you had known when you started?

That some things will go wrong and that is ok! Embrace them - it doesn’t make you a failure, just someone determined to succeed!

Who do you most admire in business, academic or creative circles and why?

Karen Brady - I just love what she stands for, her story, life, and challenges.

Outside of your professional/work area, what hobbies or interests do you have?

Fitness and travel! I love to move my body, and I love adventure. Travel is a HUGE part of my life!

Has the pandemic had a positive or a negative effect on you and/or your business, and how have you managed it?

Positive on my business, if I'm honest - it has continued to expand, which I am so so grateful for.

Do you have a mentor, or have you ever mentored anyone?

Yes, I am consistently being mentored; I think that is so important in business.

What advice would you have for someone looking to get into the same area of work or interests?

Action creates momentum and clarity. Take action, and you will gain more clarity than if you just continue to second guess yourself before getting started.

What do you feel is the most common reason for people failing or giving up?

Consistency and giving up because it hasn't happened quick enough.

Is there a phrase, quote or a saying that you really like?

Action creates clarity - I say it to my audience all the time!

What companies, brands, or institutions do you like or do you think are getting it right?

Great question! I don’t spend a lot of time-consuming information from others, but I love many companies for different reasons; someone I am interested in and whose book I am reading right now is Steven Bartlett.

How do you define success, and what lessons have you learned so far that you could share with our audience?

Success is unique to each of us, and I don't think it should be defined by one for another. Success to me is being truly happy in your journey and on the path to where you are going. Success can LIVE your life, not wish for it to be somewhere or something it isn't yet.
