Tilley Fine, Founder and CEO, Conscious Living Activist

Tilley Fine is the Founder of Conscious Living Activist. She is a Conscious Coach, focusing on life transitions, including parenting, relationships, professional life, and everyday interactions. Certified by the Dr Shefali Institute of Conscious Parenting and the Heartmath Institute. Tilley supports individuals, families and groups worldwide, in navigating through their life transitions. She challenges and guides her clients to become their authentic selves which is, for most people, buried under deeply rooted cultural conditioning and belief systems, stemming back to early childhood. Tilley blends traditional coaching and therapy, with dynamic spiritual elements and is radically shifting the way we think about life’s challenges, by ending the cycle of conflict, through healing and connection. As the privileged single mom of a spirited daughter, Tilley has been challenged to grow personally and shift her focus to making conscious decisions and choices. For 16 years, she worked in the music industry in Corporate America. She travelled across the USA and oversaw a multi-million-dollar division. Tilley walked away from her ”successful” Vice President position, to pursue her true purpose of spreading the Conscious Living way of life. Her passion is to help her clients transition by navigating through their life conditioning, with compassion and appreciation for their path of awareness and growth. She lives in Los Angeles, California with her 11-year-old daughter. She has also lived in Africa, the UK and now the USA and enjoys sharing the Conscious Living message globally.

What is your favourite social media platform?

Clubhouse because of its freedom to chat with so many different people at all times.

Tell us about you and your current role or area of interest.

I am a Conscious Coach helping clients navigate through transitions in their life. These transitions can be personal or work-related. I empower my clients to become the best versions of themselves by deconstructing their mental blocks which are mostly created by their subconscious minds. I guide them to become less anxious, overwhelmed and stressed by reprogramming their brain and recognizing their patterns.

What do you like about your career or area of focus?

I love empowering people to understand that all change is possible and everything they need comes from within, and not from outside influences, status or validation.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Everything you need is already inside of you.

What inspires you, motivates you, or helps you to move forward?

My daughter is my biggest inspiration. Speaking from my heart motivates me to keep doing the work I do.

What are you proud of in your life so far?

My daughter, of course. Also that I live a great life in Los Angeles (one of the top10 most expensive cities in the world) and I support my daughter and my mom as well as myself. I am also proud that I took a chance by leaving my secure corporate job in the music industry to follow my purpose of consciously coaching people through their life transitions.

What is your preferred way to meet new people/network?

Clubhouse.

What skills or qualities do you feel have helped you?

Resilience, fear of rejections pushes me to get out of my comfort zone, I can relate to most people, people feel safe in talking to me and confiding in me. I help people feel better about themselves.

What do you wish you had known when you started out?

That everything will always work out in the end and that the universe has your back.

Who do you most admire in business, academic or creative circles and why?

Honesty, humbleness and authenticity. I do not like bullshit, I like the truth, even if it’s uncomfortable.

Outside of your professional/work area, what hobbies or interests do you have or what other areas of your life are of real importance to you?

Connecting with my daughter, audible books, hanging out with my friends, music, relaxing on the weekends and tuning out.

Has the pandemic had a positive or a negative effect on you and/or your business, and how have you been managing it?

Positive, I have been able to focus on it.

Do you have a mentor or have you ever mentored anyone?

Dr Shefali is my mentor now. I have had other mentors when I worked at Live Nation.

What advice would you have for someone looking to get into the same area of work or interests?

You have to be able to do the work first on yourself and go through the pain of deconstructing your childhood blueprints and cultural belief systems. It is not an easy thing to do and growth never ends.

What do you feel is the most common reason for people failing or giving up?

Lack of self-worth.

Is there a phrase, quote or a saying that you really like?

You have two ears and one mouth, listen twice as much as you talk.

What companies, brands, or institutions do you like or do you think are getting it right?

Dr Shefali Tsabury, Kate Northrup, Dr Gabor Mate, Toast Masters, Self-Directed Learning schools.

How do you define success, and what lessons have you learned so far that you could share with our audience/readership?

This is a topic that is near and dear to my heart and I speak on this topic. We are raised to think that success and happiness come from external material possessions and status. But the opposite is true. The truth is, that when you go within and make decisions from the heart, success, material possessions and status are then attracted to you, ten-fold.
