Tell us about you and your current role or area of interest.

The bridge between creative expression and your health.

What do you like about your career or area of focus?

I love it because it is fluid, creative and expansive.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Show up as yourself.

What inspires you, motivates you, or helps you to move forward?

My curiosity about what life has to offer and the experiences I may have along the way.

What are you proud of in your life so far?

My kids and my new book.

What is your preferred way to meet new people/network?

Podcasting, workshops and meet-ups.

What skills or qualities do you feel have helped you?

Podcasting has helped me to become a better listener, which has helped me learn how to hold space for myself and others. Fully be present.

What do you wish you had known when you started out?

That everything would just come easy if I were not to worry and try so hard to make things happen.

Who do you most admire in business, academic or creative circles and why?

I have many people I admire. Anyone who has integrity makes mistakes gracefully and laughs at themselves.

Outside of your professional/work area, what hobbies or interests do you have or what other areas of your life are of real importance to you?

I love voice work.

Has the pandemic had a positive or a negative effect on you and/or your business, and how have you managed it?

It's had a profoundly positive effect on my life.

Do you have a mentor, or have you ever mentored anyone?

I've had many mentors over the years, which I speak of in my book, Finally Thriving.

What advice would you have for someone looking to get into the same area of work or interests?

Learn how to understand yourself, direct your focus and energy and get clear on your values.

What do you feel is the most common reason for people failing or giving up?

They lack the skills to direct their focus and take inspired action. They also do not know what is possible if they listen to the stories that have been passed down.

Is there a phrase, quote or a saying that you really like?

"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour, and some style." - Maya Angelou.

What companies, brands, or institutions do you like or do you think are getting it right?

Enlifted Coaching, The CHEK Institute and most companies affiliated with these two groups.

How do you define success, and what lessons have you learned so far that you could share with our audience/readership?

Success to me is a high level of receiving the goodness life has to offer with grace. Success is dependent on the individual and, therefore, up to that person to determine what that means to them. Only by taking a journey to understand yourself better can you define this.
