What is your favourite social media platform, and why?

LinkedIn because of #ConnectingPeople for competencies in the real world.

Tell us about you and your current role or area of interest.

Fintech, finserv, BNPL, digital payments, marketing innovation, digital transformation, business technologies, and AI.

What do you like about your career or area of focus?

Hobby: kidnap algorithms at least once a week and push them to tell him what will the future holds over an espresso coffee. All around me are innovation and the future.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

"Stay foolish, stay hungry", and you are always connected with People to reinvent the future for everyone.

What inspires you, motivates you, or helps you to move forward?

#TechForGood is the lighthouse of my daily professional and private life. Creating a valuable future will mean connecting humans with the innovation opportunities that will arrive.

What are you proud of in your life so far?

My family, my wife, my job and me.

What is your preferred way to meet new people/network?

Global presence/online/online connections and networking.

What skills or qualities do you feel have helped you?

Empathy, problem-solving, ethics, transparency, seriousness, morality and the next one I will discover I have.

What do you wish you had known when you started out?

Predictive analysis for many academic and corporation goals I centred on, but I would achieve in a better way with this added strategic value.

Who do you most admire in business, academic or creative circles and why?

The sharing ideas economy, because we will be nothing without a connection between humans and the future by ideas.

Outside of your professional/work area, what hobbies or interests do you have or what other areas of your life are of real importance to you?

My family, sport and sailing, tech for good for people and charity projects.

Has the pandemic had a positive or a negative effect on you and/or your business, and how have you managed it?

Solid a positive effect all around me and my jobs (I just lived SARS in Korea in 2003).

Do you have a mentor, or have you ever mentored anyone?

I have five to eight mentors in my life, and I create every day a bridge between them and me. Actually, I'm a global mentor in international organizations.

What advice would you have for someone looking to get into the same area of work or interests?

Study and run fast.

What do you feel is the most common reason for people failing or giving up?

Weakness of analysis and market strategy, but above all, not learn from their mistakes.

Is there a phrase, quote or a saying that you really like?

"The highest degree of sophistication is simplicity." - Leonardo da Vinci.

What companies, brands, or institutions do you like or do you think are getting it right?

Companies and Brands focus on true innovation that can be touched by hand and is for everyone. e.g. BNP Paribas, where I worked for many years, has a startup #finserv and #fintech products for young companies that do not have money or capital. But they already have a clear ESG roadmap, such as eliminating plastic and non-recyclable materials from their coffee rooms.

How do you define success, and what lessons have you learned so far that you could share with our audience/readership?

Preparing for the future means training to tell your experience at 360 degrees because history taught us that great opportunities and disruptive technological ideas always start from great crises. For example:

  1. After the Black Death of the fourteenth century, we met the Renaissance, the invention of modern printing and maps. Long before Google!

  2. After the Second World War, brilliant ideas were born in Italy, such as Nutella, Lambretta and Olivetti, top quality the whole world envies today.

  3. Since the economic recession of 2008, disruptive companies in sharing economies, such as Airbnb and Uber, were born.

And for #NextNew? #ConnedctingPeople for #ConnectingFuture.
