She holds esteemed positions on the Boards of Women's Aid and the Public Relations Consultants Association. In the past, she has chaired the Boards of D8CEC and Show Racism the Red Card, further showcasing her commitment to societal change.

In 2015, Martina boldly founded an independent, values-led agency that has become a beacon for purpose-driven communication.

Martina and the team have a skill for crafting impactful communication strategies and messages, including crisis management, where issues can escalate quickly. Creating PR opportunities for clients is something that Alice Public Relations is known for, along with Martina's coaching skills that have shaped many into confident media spokespersons.

Martina profoundly understands stakeholder engagement, politics, and public affairs from local to European elections. Since her teenage years, her early involvement in politics has equipped her with insights that few possess. Notably, she spearheaded Alice's collaborations with the Coalition to Repeal the Eighth Amendment and Together for Yes. Additionally, she has been at the helm of the WorkEqual campaign since 2016.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Martina has shared her knowledge with budding communicators across various esteemed institutions. She has lectured at the National College of Ireland, the National College of Art and Design, Griffith College Dublin, and the Communications and Management Institute. Her training sessions have spanned international locations, from Addis Ababa and Vienna to Reykjavík, Edinburgh, and London.
