Stop marketing

Curtis Boyd

Curtis Boyd

Founder, Objection.co

My entrepreneurial journey started when I was in Nursing School. I was in my last semester, $30,000 in debt, and was rotating through the ER where I was precepting. One of the cosmetic surgeons came into the ER to do a consult, he was in a terrible mood because a patient left him a terrible review that was really hurting his private practice. I told him that I might be able to remove it for him, he jokingly said he'd pay off my student loans if I did. I told him how much in Student Loans I had, and he said he'd probably lost more than that already in the week that the review had been up since it lost him 7-8 new consultations. The next day I called his office and asked him if he was serious about the offer he made in the ER - he said he was.

Carol Cronin

Carol Cronin is an Irish Seascape painter based in the South West tip of Ireland on the Dingle Peninsula. Cronin spent numerous years travelling internationally, drawn to the wide-flung seashores of the world, and settled in Amsterdam for 10 years prior to moving back to Ireland. Her work has been exhibited extensively, including in Dublin (The Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA)), London, Dusseldorf, Amsterdam, Sicily, New York, Abu Dhabi, California In 2009 Carol Cronin established her own gallery on Upper Green Street Dingle, Co Kerry, Ireland. Her seascape paintings are a direct response to the wild Irish Atlantic coastline. The painting style and technique used is unique, a gradual learned process that avoids the use of photographs as a source but rather relies on detailed pencil drawings from life. The colour is built up using thin layers of glazes and transparencies.
